Ate here without first reading the reviews and can agree with what I'm seeing. Although the menu is interesting and it has a good atmosphere, the food is unfortunately a let down.
Tacos come out with cold tortillas - not just unheated but actively cold from the fridge, which creates an odd temperature clash in your mouth with the fillings and leaves an uncooked "fresh from the packet" preservative/flour aftertaste. I'm not sure the few seconds they're saving not heating these tacos is really worth it.
Staff were at least very friendly.
Not terrible but not great either, especially when there are lots of other restaurants choices nearby

Soft taco is filled with loads of fresh veggies big slice of avocado and topped with hot well marinated and cooked brisket… we decided to have another round!
I wish they had GF soft tacos but we know it’s hard to keep them cool and not go hard!…. Would only suitable for a quesadilla.
The good quality was great.
Service was chirpy and they were helpful in adjusting ingredients
And atmosphere was neat and also clean. I think the layout has not worked for that outlet. That would be a big reinvestment!

TLDR: Get the nachos, not the tacos
Let's start with the positives:
•super helpful and friendly staff even though they were crowded
•Nachos were on on point. They put on enough brisket to warrant the higher price and the price feels right for the quantity and quality. If I were craving nachos when at Karrinyup I'd definitely come back for the nachos
•Fun selection of hot sauces to try
•The chicken in the chicken taco was actually pretty good! A pleasant surprise because...
Negatives:
•...for a place called Hermanos en tacos, the tacos were surprisingly bad
•The tortillas were cold, but I don't think theyd have been much better if they were warm. They were almost pita-like in texture and thickness
•the cheese was that shredded stuff you get feom the grocery store.
•I wasn't a fan of the junk yard taco fillings, but in their defence, it was as advertised and that's just a personal preference rather than quality issue.
•overall, the tacos felt like they'd grabbed a cold tortilla and cheese from the fridge and made a leftover burrito, which is fine for a $3 taco, but below my expectations for a $9 taco. The chicken in the taco actually saved this review from being 2 stars and combined with the nachos raised it to a 3 star.
In summary, buy their nachos!
